olli blair architects is a small practice, formed in 2019, based in Inverness and Plockton with projects throughout Skye & Lochalsh, the Western Isles and the north west highlands.

 

We work across a range of sectors including community, residential and mixed use projects with the public and private clients; a number of distilleries; a significant leisure sector project; and smaller retail, cafe and micro gin distillery projects.

 

Our approach is to design buildings that are contemporary and contextual.  

 

The practice is led by Olli Blair an RIAS Chartered Architect with over 20 years experience in designing residential, community and distillery projects. He was one of the founding directors of ABIR architects a practice with which he spent ten years working on a number of award winning projects, and with who he still collaborates with on larger projects. Of particular relevance is the Isle of Raasay distillery which completed in 2018.

 

Our small team based in our Inverness office is led by Alison Hanna, Associate Director and Senior Architectural Technologist with over 17 years experience.
